That spaghetti strap dress and your KP
KP problems for women during the holidays. So it’s New Year’s Eve and you are not going out because of your KP? Yes it can be a very embarrassing problem, but you can dress in a way that you can cover it. If not, that strapless dress is not an option because of your KP. Get a girlfriend to come over after you have showered and used a sugar scrub gently and use this trick models and people in the public eye use.
Get some (from the drugstore) cosmetic sponges your favorite face liquid foundation make up, two kinds of concealers and a translucent powder. One regular under eye concealer and a yellow concealer. Start by having your friend apply yellow concealer in a dabbing motion lightly on red KP areas. Let that dry and make sure edges are well blended. Then use a skin like color concealer on top again lightly dabbing with cosmetic sponge or fingers, blending edges well. Add your foundation lightly all over your upper arm blending well into rest of arm. At this point you can add a bronzing powder lightly with brush or a translucent powder, set with a makeup setting spray such as Urban Decay All Nighter. Wait at least 15 minutes before dressing. Take a white small towel and rub lightly, off areas that could be touching your dress, such as inner arms. This is also a very good trick to hide acne marks from your upper back, or varicose spider veins from your legs. Try it you will be pleased with the results. A rectangular large scarf works wonders to hide that back of the arm (worn as a shawl ) KP and looks very elegant. So go out and don’t let your KP spoil your fun. Happy New Year!!
